We played alot of backgammon together in that era at his place and Dirty Sally's in Las Vegas. I haven't read any books about him, but I will be soon. I hear alot of crap about Stu, but he was a good guy to me...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9281117.post-1123227342054017122005-08-05T00:35:00.000-07:002005-08-05T00:35:00.000-07:00It's true "California Split" is a terrific film, b...It's true "California Split" is a terrific film, but it's much less a movie about poker than a movie about friendship/compulsive gambling. The setting just happens to be horse tracks and poker rooms.Lonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07614633082974536229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9281117.post-1123222651465596392005-08-04T23:17:00.000-07:002005-08-04T23:17:00.000-07:00"California Split" = movie about poker + not sucki..."California Split" = movie about poker + not suckingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9281117.post-1123139138664717932005-08-04T00:05:00.000-07:002005-08-04T00:05:00.000-07:00I didn't already know, and that is very good news ...I didn't already know, and that is very good news to hear. It will be produced by Graham King ("The Aviator," "Traffic,"). If it follows the biography and lets the story tell itself, it should be a great movie. Hopefully, the Grim Reaper will not make an appearance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9281117.post-1119806576497172822005-06-26T10:22:00.000-07:002005-06-26T10:22:00.000-07:00oy musical montages belong on baywatch, not in pok...oy musical montages belong on baywatch, not in poker movies.erlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18297091691063469295noreply@blogger.com
